Little Moments of Joy

We all need little moments of joy in our lives to brighten up our day, and now you'll be able to share them with others with our new 'little moments of joy' notecards. They are business card size so they can slip into the wallet, purse or pocket of friends, family, loved ones or total strangers.

Printed by moo.com, they will be coming to our shops soon.

Better for quality, better for trees...

We are pleased to announce that we have found an improved white card stock!

Following an extensive search and trial that featured a number of different card stocks we have now found a new supplier of white card stock that is much weightier (290gsm versus 210gsm) than our previous one but without having to pass on a price increase to our customers.

Better still we are delighted that this made from 100% recycled material too, so is better for the environment! This now means all of our cards are made from recycled card stock!

...sorry a new blog took over a year!

Hello! our name is:

Just incase you had forgotten who we are! Again, it's been a little while since our last post but some stuff of note has happened though!

Firstly we have launched The RSVP Collection.

What is the RSVP Collection?
The RSVP Collection is a new range of modern print your own invitations that subtly balance graphics with carefully laid out typography. It gives you the chance to fully customise your wedding stationery.

Why The RSVP Collection?
The RSVP collection is a modern, affordable way of creating the wedding invitations you want whilst working in a pre-designed framework for ease.

It's how much?
Prices start from just £10 for a single invitation design and go up to £18 for a whole wedding set. As there is no printing cost we've been able to keep our prices down.

Where can I find it?
The RSVP Collection is available in both of etsy and folksy shops.

Can I see it?
Sure.

It's all wedding stationery?
Currently yes, but there will be party invites coming very soon. How about a sneak peak?

So that's the RSVP Collection sorted, we've also completed a wholesale order for Cambridge Contemporary Craft which is exciting. They are the third bricks and mortar shop that we've supplied. So if you're in the area pop and see 9 of our cards on display!

Introducing... The White Collection

It's a little while since we last blogged bu with good cause, we've recently moved house and haven't had the internet. On top of arguably our busiest time of year - Valentine's Day which was very busy but we survived filfilling all of our orders by using our phones! Whilst we've been away from the internet, I have been busy designing a new collection of cards that we've dubbed THE WHITE COLLECTION.

The White Collection is a series of fun and colourful cards printed on...you guessed it, white card. We have sold cards in white before but have mainly been dealing in brown kraft cards. Hope you like the new collection.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone, we hope you had a great festive period and have now recovered and are back to your crafting exploits! We've had quite a busy start to the year in terms of sales which is great. We're really close to 100 Folksy sales and 50 etsy sales, it'll be freebies ahoy for whoever completes those purchases!

Lots is happening with Tea With Rachael & Stephen in coming months. We hope to finally launch our range of wedding stationery. It was only four months ago that we first blogged about it here but we are definitely going to get it up and running; probably after Valentine's Day!

We've got a lot of new greetings cards designed and awaiting listing including one featuring this guy:

And finally, over the next couple of weeks I will be working on a new logo which is to be launched with a competition shortly, so watch this space!

Christmas Update

Firstly I am pleased to announce that our sister shop Baby Got Vintage will be having a table at a Vintage and Craft fair on 9th December. The fair is being hosted by Home Cafe in the Woodside Ferry Terminal in Birkenhead. We will also have a selection of christmas cards there too. We're really excited to be doing another fair, even if the stall is more vintage than craft based, so if you're local come by and say hello.

Furthermore we've updated our christmas card photography and are much happier with them this time around, why not check them out on folksy and etsy and let us know what you think.

I'm delighted to say that we've had a really postive response to our christmas range so far and have had a few sales, but don't forget time is running out. Royal Mail's last dates can be found here we suggest ordering a week (2 weeks for international customers) in advance of the final dates to ensure we get them to you in time for Christmas!

What's New?

Evening all!

Has been ages since the last blog, again. I know we keep doing it but at least we've got the excuse of being mega busy with our 4month old son, plus I've had a couple of operations on my knee too. But I definitely promise to try a blog at least once a week from now on!

So I thought we could start by giving you an update on what we've been up to in terms of creating and listing new stock for the shop. We listed a load of cushions that we made for the craft fair in the summer, and have enjoyed a fair few sales which is pleasing.

This bear cushion is my favourite! (Click it, it takes you to the cushion sections of our folksy shop)

In terms of the print side of things we've created a number of mew cards for a number of different occasions! Including this new home card, which I've had designed for ages but haven't gotten round to listing. (Again click it, you'll end up in our etsy shop card section)

So that's the stuff we have done! Now coming very soon we'll have a new line in Wedding Invitations! We already have a few designs finalised, once we get a couple more finished we'll have them up and listed! Here's a sneak peek at a save the date!
And finally, the other reason we've not blogged or been very interactive in etsy & folksy os because we've been sourcing stock for our new shop, and now we are proud to announce that Baby Got Vintage is now open! It's a place to find affordable vintage goods.

Come and say hello at www.babygotvintage.etsy.com!

That's all for now guys, take care and happy crafting!

Folksy Friday - Valentine's Day Cards

So a new feature for the blog is Folksy Friday, for those that don't know what it is, the basic premise is that we will pick a theme and then select our favourite Folksy items that match the theme. With it being so close to Valentine's Day it seemed only right that our theme be Valentine's Day Cards. Enjoy!
